🌿 Our Story
My mother always said, “What you learn, nobody can take away.” Those words stayed with me, and when she encouraged me to take goat milk soap classes, I knew she was right.
I have loved animals for years, and only in the last couple of years have Mini Nubian goats become part of our lives. I fell in love with them quickly, and that passion has only grown.
🐐 Our Goats
Our Mini Nubian goats are deeply loved members of our farm. We believe their babies should have all the milk they need, so they stay with their mamas and drink freely.
Only after they are finished do I collect the extra milk each day, always with careful attention to cleanliness and care.
I also require my goats to have rest periods from milking so they can grow strong and their bodies can recover for the next kidding season. My herd of Mini Nubians has truly become my joy.
We register our goats with the Mini Dairy Goat Association (MDGA), and some with TMGA. Our goats are vet-checked yearly to ensure their health and well-being. As you can probably tell, they are truly loved.
🧼 How MAA Soap Began
When I started this business at retirement age, I wanted to name it something that felt true. My goats call me “maa,” and so MAA Soap was born.
It’s a name that captures everything I love about this work: the animals, the craft, and the connection with people.
💛 What We Believe
Every bar I make carries the love my mother taught me to give.
The positive feedback from friends and family reminds me why I’m doing this. It’s not just about soap—it’s about sharing something handmade, something real, and something made with genuine care for the people who use it.
✨ From Our Farm to You
From our happy, healthy Mini Nubian goats to your home, each bar is handcrafted in small batches using fresh milk and the finest ingredients.
Thank you for being part of our story.
