Our Story

After getting our first two Mini Nubian goats, farm life truly began. I fell in love with them right away, and they quickly became such an important part of our lives. Before long, I had goats producing milk—lots of it—and my freezer was overflowing. I started experimenting with goat milk yogurt and cheese, which were wonderful, but I still felt called to find another way to honor what my beautiful girls were giving me.

Our Mini Nubian goats are deeply loved and cared for every single day. They are part of our family. Their babies stay with them and nurse freely, and we believe in letting them grow strong and naturally at their own pace. When the time is right, I gently collect the extra milk they share with me, always with gratitude and care.

That’s when I discovered goat milk soap. I enrolled in soap-making classes to learn the craft properly and make sure every batch met my own standards. I’ll be honest—I was nervous making that first batch, but something just clicked, and it quickly became a true passion.

What started as a way to share with friends and family slowly grew into something more. I realized there are folks who truly appreciate simple, handmade soaps made with care and natural ingredients. That’s how MAA goat milk soap began—soap made to gently cleanse the skin with real softness, no shortcuts, just honest quality.

I love experimenting with different scents and watching each batch come together. And when it’s time to cut the soap, it’s always a bit of a surprise—it never gets old. But the best part is hearing from you and what you think of MAA goat milk soap, and sharing in your genuine joy.

At the end of the day, that’s what drives me—creating something that brings a little more comfort, care, and warmth into folks’ lives, one bar at a time.

What goes into every bar.

Small-batch artisan goat milk soap, handcrafted in Foresthill, California. I believe the best things come from simple, genuine ingredients and thoughtful care, and I truly hope you feel that in every bar.

I do everything myself, starting with the most important step: tenderly hand milking our Mini Nubian goats. Yes, I talk to them. Yes, I sometimes sing to them. They’re usually busy enjoying their oats and kindly allowing me to work, which I deeply appreciate.

The milk is frozen right away to help preserve its freshness. From there, I blend it with pure, natural ingredients like olive oil, sustainable palm oil, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, and either fragrance oils or essential oils. Sometimes I’ll add a touch of dried flowers or herbs to make it extra little special.

After each batch is hand-crafted, I let it cure a bit longer than required. This isn’t just tradition—it’s my way of making sure every bar is safe, gentle, and something I feel truly good about sharing.

The magic happens through saponification, where oils and milk slowly transform into soap. It’s a process that takes time, patience, and a lot of attention to detail.

I also believe in full honesty. You won’t find hidden steps or vague ingredients here—I want you to know exactly what goes into your soap and why. That transparency matters to me.
